Current Unsolved Crimes:
  1. The Perham Police Department is requesting information relating to the following incident. At approximately 6:30am on June 25th, 2002, unknown suspects broke into the Pamida Store and took money from a vending machine in the lobby. Anyone seeing a vehicle or suspicious activity is to call or email the Police Department.
  2. On May 11th, 2002 two suspects entered Main Street Express during business hours and took a large amount of cash and checks. Photos and videos of the suspects have been obtained by the Police Department. Checks from the theft have also been recovered. The Police Department believes this theft/burglary is connected to similar thefts in Henning and Fergus Falls. Anyone with any information regarding this theft is asked to contact the Police Department by phone or e-mail.
  3. The Police Department has been investigating a number of vehicles that have been broken into in the east industrial park. Stereos and other items have been removed. These thefts have been ongoing from March through May 2002. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department.
  4. On May 24, 2002 a Craftsman toolbox with tools was taken from the back of a Bronco on the north side of Tuffy's. Also taken was a CD player and speakers. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department.
  5. The Police Department is investigating vandalism to two windows at Greenspire Graphics that occurred during the early morning hours of May 9th, 2002. Rocks were used to break the windows. Anyone with information, please contact the Police Department.
  6. The Perham Police Department in conjunction with the MN Deer Hunters Association is requesting assistance from the public. On Wednesday, August 29th, or Thursday, August 30th, 2001, unknown person(s) caused a considerable amount of damage to the Perham Gun Range. The vandals shot holes in a portable restroom, signs and clay pigeon thrower. Anyone having any information about this crime is asked to contact the Perham Police Department at (218) 346-4452. You may remain anonymous.
  7. The Perham Fire Department, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department and the Perham Police Department are asking for your assistance in any information regarding a number of fires that have been started in the Perham area since the last part of July. The fires involve a pop machine located at the Perham Golf Course and a number of hay bales in the surrounding Perham area. Anyone having any information about this crime is asked to contact the Perham Police Department at (218) 346-4452 or the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department at (218) 736-5421.
